By accessing or using Settle ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Settle is a payment settlement service that enables users to receive stablecoin payments and convert them to local fiat currency via bank transfer.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. By using Settle, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the bank account linked to your profile belongs to you.
To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing a valid bank account number, selecting your bank, and verifying ownership via SMS one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.
Settle operates a tiered verification system. Transactions under $10,000 USD equivalent require bank account verification only. For cumulative or single transactions exceeding $10,000, additional identity verification may be required in accordance with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Settle charges a settlement fee on each crypto-to-fiat conversion. Fees are deducted automatically before funds are sent to your bank account. Fee rates may change with prior notice.
When you receive stablecoins (USDC, USDT) at your Settle wallet address, the funds are credited to your Settle balance. You may then settle (convert) your balance to local currency and receive it in your linked bank account. Settlement times depend on the destination bank and payment rails but are typically completed within 60 seconds.
If a settlement fails (e.g., due to incorrect bank details or bank rejection), the full amount is returned to your Settle balance. No fees are charged on failed settlements. Settle is not liable for delays caused by third-party banking infrastructure.
You may not use the Platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, or any illegal activity. Settle reserves the right to freeze accounts and report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.
Settle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain network failures, bank processing delays, exchange rate fluctuations, or unauthorized access to your account. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
